Sponsors were the parents. She was confirmed on 27 Apr 1902 in
Monmouth, Warren, Illinois. Enrolled October 20, 19 01. Edith's
sister Hilma was in the same confirmation class. Edith died on 18
Sep 1974 at the age of 85 in Chicago, Illi nois. Her residence at
death was given as Chicago, Cook, Illinois 60618. She was buried
on 20 Sep 1974 in Memorial Estat es, Franklin Park, IL.26 The
funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in
Melrose Park, Illinois o n September 20, 1974, with a service at
the gravesite following. Linnea Sandgren was the organist. Pastor
Russell F. And erson of Christ Lutheran Church and Pastor Carl. C.
McKenzie of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Chicago, conducted the
